Part 2 of HUD’s 2018 Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress has been released. The report, which is based on data collected and analyzed by Abt, utilizes a new dataset called the Longitudinal Systems Analysis, which captures detailed community-level data on homelessness.

HUD has launched a $50 million demonstration to evaluate efforts to help families with federal housing vouchers access low-poverty neighborhoods. A team led by Abt is evaluating the first phase of this demonstration, which will offer mobility services to help voucher holders expand their housing choices.

Throughout her career, she’s focused on building partnerships that use data and analytics to drive collaboration and integrate transformational change at key intersections of the social determinants of health, including early childhood, housing, and child welfare.
Diane Paulsell has joined Abt as a vice president and portfolio lead for our Social and Economic Policy division. Paulsell is an applied social scientist with more than 20 years of experience designing, conducting, and overseeing mixed-methods, policy-focused research, including national multi-site studies. Paulsell leads research and evaluation teams in conducting multi-method studies, from early childhood to family support programs and policies.
