Working in partnership with the Government of Laos, the Local Health System Sustainability Project (LHSS) is on the ground supporting nationally-led efforts to prevent infection, strengthen surveillance, and improve referral-to-care for people with suspected or confirmed COVID-19.
The Abt-led, USAID Health System Strengthening Plus project is providing technical assistance to support Senegal’s MOH in using its geographic information system to rapidly respond to COVID-19. Many Ugandans are vulnerable to abject poverty. The USAID/Uganda-funded, Abt-led ICAN activity worked to build resilience for more than 55,000 Ugandans by ensuring that more children stay in school, families eat more nutritious food, and workers earn an environmentally harmonious living from agriculture and other enterprises.
Abt helped the USAID-funded JCAP activity communicate about—and change behaviors around—sustainable family planning and RMNCH+ services in Jordan. Over its lifespan, JCAP conducted 14 studies to inform intervention designs and improve implementation.
