Study: COVID-19 Vaccines Effectively Prevent and Moderate Effects of Infections
Abt partnered with the CDC on a study that found COVID-19 vaccines are highly effective among working-age adults in real-world conditions. The results show the vaccines not only prevent SARS-CoV-2 infections but also reduce serious symptoms among those with breakthrough infections despite vaccination.
Nepal: Reducing Inequalities in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Services
Inequalities in wealth and location had long affected the provision of RMNCH services in Nepal. An Abt study shows that inequities between demographic groups significantly decreased between 2001 and 2016, with deliveries attended by skilled birth attendants being the area with the greatest opportunity for improvement.
